Do you feel anxious, depressed, and not like yourself? Would you like some tools to manage life in a more healthy and helpful way? Sometimes we feel stuck and need someone to believe in us. I want to be that person for you! Together we can reach your goals for living the life you know is possible. We will work collaboratively and I will strive to honor who you are, your life story, and the strengths that have gotten you through life this far. Therapy can be hard work, but it can feel a little less scary when you have someone by your side who believes in you.
My foundational approach is strengths-based through an attachment lens. Your family and the context in which you have experienced life are essential components to understanding your story. I see you as a whole person that is doing the best you can with the knowledge that you currently have. The modalities I use are cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, exposure and response prevention therapy, mindfulness, and dialectical behavior therapy.
I prefer to work with individuals 18 and older that are struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, relationship struggles, life transitions, and postpartum women. I look forward to working with you!
